It's important to get the keel in the right place and at the correct angle to
the hull in order to jig the sterntube before bonding it to the hull.
So using my Veritas sliding bevel I first checked that the keel subtended
the same angle to each side of the hull and then
I glued up this quick fixture. Now I can remove one half of the keel and clamp the
other half to this fixture and fit the sterntube, knowing the angle is correct.
